You can check our 'Where are we' section to see our regular updates along the way, but we've just checked in to our 'Hilton' in Krakow (otherwise known as a hostel) so a quick update on the blog. Had a great time so far. Covered 1,200 miles in the last 3 days so getting some good mileage under our belt. Last night we made it to the party in south west Czech held in a deserted castle but amazingly limited ourselves to just a couple or so of beers and didn't even have a sniff of absinthe - a mistake given that we found ourselves sleeping in a wet tent. Good practise for the weeks ahead. The police finally caught up with us just after Prague but fortunately they hadn't heard about Lana's "Thelma" moment so we only had to talk our way out of our lack of lights (during daylight hours) and the missing motorway toll sticker. Annoying since we'd paid for it but a few sweet smiles from Lana (I'm sure she winked at him while I wasn't watching) in her tight top and we were on our way again :)  Lots of the ralliers seem to be taking the southern route via Turkey & Iran but we've found a good few along the way today who are travelling our way so it looks like we will have escorts after all. So a deserving bottle of red wine tonight then bed before an early rise and then we'll head for the Ukranian border and hope to spend the night somewhere half way across it (best to keep these things open ended!).
