The Optimists Described as ‘the greatest adventure in the world’ the Mongol Automobile Rally starts in Hyde Park and, some time and 10 000 miles later, ends in Ulaabaatar, the capital of Mongolia.

We'll be travelling the south route through Turkey, Iran,
Turkmenistan, Uzbekistan, Tajikistan, Kyrgyzstan, Kazakhstan and Russia in a rusty ford fiesta with about enough motoring oomph to power a hairdryer!

Made it up made it down. A fantastic wkend in my home village! Thinking of re-naming the shitbox "the Red Rocket"!.......maybe not.
