Welcome to the official site for Japan Car Exports Limited’s official Mongol Rally team which has been officially named “Smaller is Better.” Our team name refers to the tiny size of the car we’ll be driving and the even smaller size of its engine. While the Mongol Rally require that our engine size stay under 1 liter, we decided to make things a bit more challenging by attempting to encircle the northern hemisphere with a .66 liter “kei” van. In the process we hope to raise some awareness for these funny little vehicles and raise some money for charity in the process. After (or if?) we finish the Mongol Rally, we will push onward to traverse the remainder of the northern hemisphere via Canada and the US. We hope you’ll support us and our charities as we embark on this less-than-sane adventure around the world. |
