Those really helpful chaps at <a href="http://www.tracmat.com/">Tracmat Ltd</a> have been able to supply us (and team Emudraft) with a pair of sand/bridging ladders which have now been duly attached to the ever growing roofrack, so now we are fully prepared for whatever the Mongolian roads throw at us... The roofrack has now been fitted properly after its initial 'trial' fit and securely bolted to the roof, as well as housing a miriad of spotlamps (might have gone a bit over the top on that one!) and a cluster of jerry cans for those long trips between gas stations in Kaz...

Another pair of spots along with there respective steady bars (nothing but plastic to bolt to on the front of the Micra's) have been fitted to the front bumper and a map light and map pockets have been fitted internally, along with the ubiqitous CB radio- allowing us to talk to the native truckers and find out where the police are hiding (although I now have to fit a 'universal translator' to understand what they are saying), but the thought was there...

Mobile phone chargers are on there way and the stickers are starting to arrive...

She's just passed her MOT after a set of front pads and our local garage has just done us a cracking deal on fitting a new clutch, as it was starting to wear a little more than expected and in reality, wouldnt have lasted another 10K miles... so a big thanks to MJ Hardwick Ltd near Bury St Edmonds for all of their help so far...!
