Home Town - Southampton
Mission - Travel in a 1096cc, £475 banger from Hyde Park, London to the capital of Mongolia covering 9,500 miles of desolate landscapes, mountain ranges and ram shakle villages. Driving on stoney pathways, pot holed partly tarmaced roads, quick sand and deep river crossings. Experiensing mechanical problems, endless flat tyres and maybe some run ins with the locals??
Main Objectives -To raise money for charity and hopefully gain some sponsorship money as well. Also have an amazing time along the way.
Aim - Hope to munch up the miles and reach Ulaanbataar then have a party! (and then come home alive)
Odds - 3/1 (maybe a bit optimistic on that but we can hope)

Your money will be contributed to Mercy Corps and CNCF to help put a positive change to the lives of disadvantaged children and families in Mongolia. I have got my passport back with all the visas accepted, booked the first hotel in Belgium and booked the Euro Tunnel. |
