We are three guys from Southampton, England looking for the ultimate adventure and to raise staggering amounts of cash to positively change the lives of disadvantaged children in Mongolia!
The Mongol Rally 2008 is on its way! Team-Kiss my Assphalt will be competing on the crazy 10000 mile, London to Mongolia adventure this summer on July 19th 2008.
The Mongol Rally is a mix of extreme adventure and huge charity fund-raising. It is known as the greatest adventure of all time, probably because the Rally rampages through eight to ten thousand miles of villages, towns, cities, countries, mountain ranges, deserts and even the occasional river until ultimately reaching (fingers crossed) Mongolia's Capital City Ulaanbaatar.
Apart from the epic journey, the whole idea is to raise money for Mongolian charities such as Mercy Corps etc. We hope to raise £1000's! Once we have reached our grand total, we want to put any of the extra money donated to help us to get the car to Mongolia. Once we have made it to Ulaanbaatar the car will be sold to local people and the money raised will be added to our total charity donation to positively change the lives of disadvantaged children in Mongolia.
