One weekend and much graft at my folks house later, the Starlet's starting to come together. With ally sheet and steel section, the sumpguards are all finished. Despite being awkward to make (plenty of grinding and welding) they are well worth the effort, I think.

Changed engine and 'box oil, and car stereo switched over for something with more ability to drown out dying Starlet noises. We can now drive off road whilst annoying the locals en route with Jeremy's ipod at max volume. Also got some of our decals on, so the car looks less like a shopping car - although not exactly the spit of Carlos Sainz' WRC Toyotas just yet..

Just waiting on the Colway tyres to be delivered and fitted, and we're looking good....
