We are 6 mates from London about to trek it across half the world to Mongolia, in 2 polo's we picked up on ebay.
We'll be travelling right across Europe through France, Germany, Poland and Ukraine and Russia before braving the treacherous roads of Kazakhstan.
After another brief stint in Russia we will be on our way to Ulanbataar, Mongolia and all within 3 weeks!
We're doing it for 2 charities...Hope and Homes for Children and MercyCorps Mongolia.
Hope and Homes for Childrens mission is to give hope to the poorest children in the world - those who are orphaned, abandoned or vulnerable - by enabling them to grow up within the love of a family and the security of a home, so that they can fulfill their potential.
Currently Hope and Homes for Children are working across Central and Eastern Europe and Africa. Their programmes vary from country to country, from closing orphanages in Europe to supporting AIDS orphans in Africa.
Mercy Corps/Mongolia has one overall strategic goal – to support rural communities to mobilize resources to meet their economic and social needs , and by extension, to provide a better quality of life for rural residents.
