These are the adventures of the Car Trek Voyagers...
From 19th July 2008, we will be taking part in the Mongol Rally - a 4-week, 8,000-mile drive from London to Mongolia, with about 300 other teams.
Why are we doing it?
We'll be doing the journey in a 1977 Chrysler Avenger. When we get to the Mongolian capital, Ulaan Bataar, we'll either give the car to a charity, or sell it, and give the money raised to our charities. Because there is usually a large car-import fee when driving into Mongolia (waived for the rally by the Mongolian Government), the car will be worth considerably more when we arrive at our destination. Of course, there's also the fact that this will be the greatest adventure of our lives!
