We made it.  Arrived on Saturday afternoon in convoy and went straight to an all you can eat buffet and gorged ourselves senseless on decent food which made a welcome change.  Car has held up wonderfully, we seem to be the only team we know of who didn't have a single breakdown.  Had a good party last night, and an even better lie-in this morning, to not get up at 5am with the prospect of 14 hours of off-road driving ahead of you is a good feeling.

Ulaanbaatar is really nice, the city is currently insane as the Mongolians just won their second gold medal ever so all the streets are full of huge cars driving stupidly fast, waving flags, tooting horns and we are constantly being accosted by drunks offering us vodka, good fun.
