Brian and Michael are team 2 UB or not 2 UB - that is the question!
The basic premise of the Mongol Rally is that 'The world is just a little bit too safe'. The main rule is that your vehicle should not have an engine larger than 1 litre. The spirit of the adventure is best summed up: 'If you get there with no major balls-up you might as well have stayed at home.'
Please consider sponsoring the two charities we have chosen (see link on left to 'Our Charities'). |

Well we made it to UB...you will have read on the "where are we" section how we progressed...but the adventure did not end at the finish line. On the thursday evening Brian was walking the 500 yards from the Central Square celebration to the hotel, when he got mugged .no bodily injury, so who cares. Just all the money, the mobile phone (with all the numbers, not backed up of course), his camera (so he will be able to bore you with all his pictures) and his credit cards. So today Police reports and visits to the British Embassy and the the challenge of travelling back through Seoul and Tokyo with no passport etc....should be interesting. |
